Maung Maung Tinn - Water Colour Paintings - 7

Behind a nice front wall

There are over one million Burmese people who live as migrant workers in neighbouring countries. Most of them work in factories. They are often treated in unfair ways. They must work long hours. They must live on the factory premises, often in dingy dormitories which cause depression. The factories often have poor sanitation, and give low salaries. It is so difficult to find work in Burma. Many people have to move to other countries to solve their problems of income, food, shelter... Often the conditions there are not as good as they had hoped. But they must continue to work in order to live ... By MMT
